BRITISH THREE BAR HILT PRESENTATION SWORD, 1822 pattern, 36 inch slightly curved, single fullered blade etched with acanthus leaves, VR Royal cipher, trophies and flags, obverse side with acanthus leaves, Royal cipher and inscription, 'First Prize Sword Exercise/Won By/Q.M.Sergt T.H.Hey/Yorkshire Dragoons Y.C.1899.', ricasso marked, 'Robt Mole & Sons/Birmingham/Makers To The/War & India/Offices', good hilt with traces of plating finish, very good fish skin grips bound with woven copper wire, complete with steel scabbard. Very good.
