SICILY, Motya, silver litra, (c.405-397 B.C.), Punic Occupation. (0.66 g), obv. facing head of a Gorgoneion, rev. palm tree, with Punic "MTV" below. (S.867, Jenkins, Punic, [pl. 23, 5], SNG ANS 503). Nearly very fine, toned. and rare. Ex Astarte S.A., ASTA XIV, 24th April 2004 (lot 126).
