ZEUGITANIA, Carthage, modern cast copy of billon tridrachm or one and a half shekel in lead like metal, (10.85 g), obv. head of Tanit to left, crowned with wreath of corn, wearing earring with triple pendant and necklace, symbol to right, rev. free horse standing to right, palm tree with fruit behind, symbol behind front legs, (cf.S.6494). Base lead like metal very fine/nearly very fine.

This piece is unusual with additional symbols on obverse and reverse possibly impressed into the original mould to signify manufacturer.
