Pte William Grose Veal, labourer, age 25, born Bendigo Vic, Enl 09Feb1915 Castlemaine Vic, operations Gallipoli from 05Sept1915 and into the line at Johnston's Jolly the next day, withdrawn to Mudros 18Dec1915, Emb Alexandria for Marseilles 18Mar1916, operations France and Flanders from 07Apr1916, WIA 26Aug1916 during the attack on Mouquet Farm, RTA 16Oct1916, Disch 08May1917 medically unfit.
