BOIOTIA, Orchomenos, (c.370-364 B.C.), AE14 (2.35 g), obv. Boiotian shield, grain ear along vertical centreline, rev. star of eight rays, E-P-X-O clockwise around, arrayed within alternating spaces, (S.2438, HGC 4, 1260 [Rare]; BCD Triton IX, 225; Head, Boeotia p. 50, pl. IV, 13 = BMC 36, pl. VIII, 16; SNG Cop. 206-207; Weber 3217). Very fine, with medium brown patina, rare.
