THRACE, The Thracian Cherronesos (Cardia?), (400-350 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.39 g), obv. forepart of lion looking back, rev. quadripartite incuse square, dot and **AG* in one corner, trace of dot and pruning-hook in opposite corner, (cf.S.1603, McClean 4061 [Pl.148, 7], SNG Cop. -). Bright, very fine.
