AUSTRALIAN JOINT STOCK BANK, ten pounds printer's proof, uniface, black and white, on paper, Armidale, 18- (c1859), imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co, London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, SPECIMEN stamped in Director/Manager reserve, '28th January 1859' written in pencil bottom margin (MVR 1b). Tiny tear in left margin, tape marks on back, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare.
