NEW SOUTH WALES LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL, (EVIIR). 41 Sapper J.Perry N.S.W. Sub. Miners. Engraved but renamed. Scratches on obverse and uneven toning due to removal of double sided tape, otherwise very fine and rare.

The renaming of this medal may have been done officially because there would seem to be no reason to rename it to increase value as any named medal is rare. Recorded under Commonwealth of Australia Long Service and Good Conduct Medals at CAG No.59 19/12/02 to 41 Spr. Joseph Perry, late Corps of Aust Engrs (N.S.W. Per. S.M.M.).

Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price. All bids are executed on the understanding that the Terms & Conditions of sale have been read and accepted. For information on grading and estimates please refer to the Buying at Auction advice.
