GETA, (A.D. 209-212), silver denarius, issued 211, Rome mint, (3.16 g), obv. laureate head to right of Geta, around P SEPT GETA PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. Janus or janiform Jupiter standing half left, holding spear and thunderbolt, around TR P III COS II P P, (S.7251, RIC 79, RSC 197). Toned, well centred, nearly extremely fine, scarce.

In Roman coinage this standing figure with Janiform head is unique.
