Admiral of the Fleet Roger John Brownlow Keyes, 1st Baron Keyes, Bt GCB KCVO CMG DSO (4 October 1872 - 26 December 1945) was a noted British admiral, with an active service life that started with 19th-century patrols off the coast of Africa against Arab slavers to the Allied landings in Leyte in World War II. He was regarded throughout the British Empire as one of the great military heroes of his day.
