MAURICE TIBERIUS, (A.D.582-602), gold semissis, Constantinople mint, (2.21 g), issued 583-602, obv. diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Maurice Tiberius to right, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, D N MAVRI CI PP AVI around, rev. VICTORI A AVCC, CONOB in exergue, Victory looking to left, holding a wreath in right hand and in left cross on globe, (S.486, DOC 12b, BMC -, T.-, R.1024, MIB 17a). With full mint bloom, about as struck, extremely fine or better, very scarce.
