The first medal unnamed, SX30190 K.Farrelly on the second to fifth medal and 6393 K Farrelly. Australia. SJAB. 1990 on last medal. The last medal engraved, the other named medals impressed.; Husband's Brother: Group of Eight: 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; Pacific Star; Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45; Efficiency Medal (GVIR Indiae.Imp) with Australia suspender; Service Medal of the Order of St John with cross emblem. Cpl. J.Farrelly. SX2969 on first six medals, SX2969 Cpl. J.Farrelly on seventh medal, 4734 J.Farrelly. Australia. S.J.A.B.O. 1946. on last medal. The first three and the last two medals engraved, the other medals impressed. The second group swing mounted, very fine - good extremely fine.

Together with Restoration of Peace Medal 1995; RSL Life Member badge (QC) reverse numbered S.A. LM0871, awarded to Joseph Farrelly; OAM case with female ribbon and riband, lapel pin and lapel badge but no miniature; Order of St John epaulettes with rank insignia for Divn Superintendent; Ford News Vol 7, No 12, November 1943; various certificates, documents and photos mostly relating to Coral Farrelly.

Coral Ellen Farrelly (nee Sward), born 06Mar1924 at Hobart, Tasmania; later moved to Adelaide due to father's ill health; twice chosen to represent South Australia in basketball; Enl.27Feb1943 in WAAAF; mustered as Signals Clerk and trained at RAAF Signals School in Victoria; posted to No 2 Air Observer School at Mt Gambier; transferred to various medical units; Disch.Mar1946; married Kenneth Farrelly in 1948; OAM 1991, War Medal 1939-45, Australia Service Medal 1939-45, Civilian Service Medal 1939-45; 20Apr1979 received Distinguished Service Award of Air Force Association (Australian Flying Corps & Royal Australian Air Force Association) in appreciation and recognition of service to the association; 07Sep1980 received Certificate of Merit from Air Force Association in recognition of service to association; 11Jan1989 appointed Life Member of the Council of United Ex-Service Women Inc for Meritorious Service; Certificate of Appreciation from Council of United Ex-Servicewomen (SA) for support and assistance given during Veterans' Health Week 1996; appointed Life Member of Royal Australian Air Force Association in 1998 for services to the association; Died 22May2000; achievements include serving in various executive positions on various associations, granting of war service home loans to ex-servicewomen without entitlements, setting up and coordinating day care and social activities for ex-servicemen and women and elderly citizens in Adelaide, instigator of the building of the Council of United Ex-Servicewomen (SA) Memorial Cottages housing needy ex-servicewomen, instigator for erection of a monument to the women of South Australia who served in the Defence Forces of Australia during WWII (in a fitting tribute to the dedication of Coral Farrelly, her own profile is etched on the memorial).
