GEORGE III, 1820 dated Crown 'Patina' retrospective pattern series. Obverse: Portrait of King right after portrait by Webb and Mills for Mudie. Reverse: crowned ornate shield, 50 pcs in golden alloy, 50 pcs in nickel silver, 70 pcs in platinum coloured alloy. Uncirculated. (170)
This is the last portrait in the Patina series and these pieces represent most of the total mintages in these metals.
