CONSTANTINE I, (A.D. 307-337), AE follis, issued 323-4, London mint, (3.19 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Constantine I, around CONSTAN TINVS AG, rev. Victory advancing to right, holding trophy and branch, trampling captive on ground, around SARMATIA DEVICTA, in exergue PLON crescent, (S.16280, RIC 290, C 487). Struck on a broad flan, attractive deep toning, extremely fine, as struck with a superb portrait.
