ANONYMOUS ISSUE, (c.115-114 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.94 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head to right, X behind, ROMA below, rev. Roma seated right, wolf and twins before, two birds in field, (S.164, Cr.287/1, Syd.530, RSC. 176). Lightly toned, struck on a full flan, slightly off centred reverse, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
