THRACE, Kings of, Lysimachos. (305-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.30 grams), Lampsakos mint, struck 297/6-282/1 B.C., obv. diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon, rev. Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear behind, to inner left, monogram above crescent, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **LUSIMAXOU*, (S.6814, Thompson 61 var. [monogram]; M.392; SNG France 2545 [same obv. die as 2544]). Nearly extremely fine, toned and rare.
