THRACE, Black Sea Area, Pantikapaion, (4th century B.C.), AE 21, (8.45 grams), obv. bearded head of Pan to right, wearing wreath of ivy leaves, rev. Griffin left, fish below, **PAN* around, (S.1700, BMC 20, SNG BMC Black Sea 869ff). Very dark patina, good very fine.
