MACEDON, Kings of, Kassander, (316-297) B.C., AE 21mm, (5.70 grams), uncertain mint in Macedon, struck 306/5-297 B.C., obv. head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress, rev. rider on horseback right, raising right hand in salute, **BASILEWS* above **KASSANDROU* below; **Q* below, **D*I before. (S.6754; SNG Alpha Bank 903). Good very fine and rare.
