SASSANIAN KING, Kavad I, (A.D. 488-496, 498-531), silver drachm, second reign issue 499-531, (4.05 grams), RD = Ray mint, year 33, obv. bust to right with crown, name in outer margin, rev. fire altar, (Sellwood 52, Gobl 189). Attractive brightness, lightly toned reverse, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
