PHOCAS, (602-610), solidus, 4.26 grams, struck at Constantinople mint, Officina I, issued 603-607, obv. crowned facing bust holding cross, rev. Angel standing to left holding P headed cross, and globe supporting a cross, (S. 618, DOC 5j.1). Appears to have been removed from jewelery, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce.
