HERACLIUS, (610-641), silver hexadram or double milliarense, Constantinople mint, issued 615-638, (6.87 grams), obv. facing seated figures of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine, each wearing chlamys and crown and holding a globe surmounted by a cross, around [dN NN hE]RACLIVS ET hERA CONSt, rev. cross potent on base above globe on three steps, around dEy[S Ad]IyTA ROMANIS, I in left field, (S.796, DOC.62, BMC 99, T.213-4, R.1387). Reverse with overstriking on a similar issue with seated Heraclius Constantine easily visible, otherwise very fine or better, rare.
