DIOCLETIAN, (A.D. 284-305), AE folles, Rome mint, issued A.D. 306, (10.2 grams), obv. laureate half bust of Diocletian in imperial mantle with olive branch and mappa to right, around D N DIOCLETIANO BAEATISS SEN AVG rev. around PROVIDENTIA DEORVM QVIES AVGG, Providentia standing to right extending right hand to Quies standing left, holding branch, leaning on sceptre, RQS in exergue, S F in field, (cf.S.3542-3, RIC 130a). Attractive extremely fine and a very rare post abdication issue.
