ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.4 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped and cuirassed to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around INVICTVS SACERDOS AVG, Elagabalus standing left, sacrificing over altar, holding branch, (S.2100, RIC 88, C.61). Nearly extremely fine.
