DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 85, (10.0 grams), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM COS XVI CENS PER PP, rev. Moneta standing to left, holding scales and cornucopiae, S C across field, (cf.S.913, RIC 408, C.333). Minute hole in edge, otherwise very fine, scarce.
