CHARLES I, (1625-1649), Tower Mint, silver twopence, Group 2a, mm plume, 1630-1, (S.2808 [This Coin Illustrated], N.2250, Brooker 665 [same dies]). Full flan, dark tone, good very fine and very rare in this condition.

Ex B.A. Seaby, Ltd., London, purchased in 1985. The plate coin illustrated in all Seaby and later Spink 'Coins of England and the United Kingdom' (p.263 in 2003 edition).
