SOUTHERN BRITAIN AND THAMES AREA, Northern Atrebates, Epaticcus, (c.A.D. 35-43), silver unit, third coinage issued A.D. 35-43, obv. head of Hercules to right, EPATI to right, dotted border, rev. eagle standing facing head to left, pellet in ring to right above, snake to right below, dotted border, (S.356, Van A. 580-1). An attractive grey tone, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
