CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 210-213, Rome mint, (3.288 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. Caracalla in military dress standing half-right holding spear and standard, attendant behind, around PROFECT IO AVG, (cf.S.1952, RIC 226, RSC 509). Good very fine and rare.
