HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued 118, (11.320 grams), obv. radiate head to right of Hadrian, drapery on far shoulder, around IMP CAE[SAR TRA]IANVS HADRIANVS AVG, rev. around PONT MAX TR POT COS II, ADVENTVS AVG over S C in exergue, Roma helmeted seated right on cuirass, clasping hands with Hadrian in a togate, (S.-, RIC 554, C.92). Bronze colour, good portrait legends weak, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
