DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 93-94, (3.602 grams), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM P M TR P XIII, rev. around IMP XXII COS XVI CENS P P P, Minerva standing to right on vessel with owl at feet, in fighting pose holding javelin and shield, (cf.S.896, RIC 176, RSC 284). Attractive, good very fine.
