SHAH JAHAN I, (A.H. 1037-1068, A.D.1628-1658), round Gold mohur, (10.884 grams), struck at Akbarabad mint, issued A.H. 1057 (A.D. 1647-8), Regnal Year 21, obv. Kalima within a diamond border, margins around rev. Shah Jahan within diamond, date and Regnal date within diamond, mint name in third edge area lower left hand side, (cf.Lucknow Museum 1804-1810, cf.BMC 560, cf.IMC 841, KM.258.1). Very fine and very scarce.
