BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Apollodotus II, (c.110-80 B.C.), silver drachm, (2.348 grams), obv. Apollodotus diademed bust to right, around **BASILEWS SOTHROS KAI FILOPATOROS APOLLODOTOU*, rev. Athena Pallas advancing to left, with thunderbolt and shield, Karosthi legend around, monogram in left field, (S.7672, M.424a). Attractive bright, lightly tone, nearly extremely fine, scarce.
