SICILY, Syracuse, before Timoleon, (367-344 B.C.), AE 25, (16.41 grams), obv. Zeus Eleutherios laureate head to right, around on left traces of ZEY**S ELEUQERIOS*, rev. fulmen (thunderbolt) with eagle to right, closed wings, around **SU[RAKOSI]WN*, (S.1192, BMC 313, SNG Cop. 727-729, SNG ANS 477-488). Green patina, very fine, scarce.
