SULTAN OF DELHI, Farid-ud-din Sher Shah Suri, (945-952 A.H., 1538-1545 A.D.), silver rupee, (11.28 grams), Jahanpanah mint type, Type B, dated 942 for 946, obv. three lines, (the Kalina), around (the four successors), rev. three lines (Sher Shah Sultan, May God Perpetuate his dominion and sovereignty, 942); (cf.Rajgor 1692, cf.Wright 1079, 1082, cf.Hull 538, cf.IMC 655). Very fine and very rare apparently unpublished.
