CRUSADER COINAGE, Duchy of Athens, Guy II de la Roche - Minority under regency of Helena & Hugh of Brienne (1287-1294), billon denier (0.76 grams), obv. cross pattee, legend around, rev. chatel tournois, legend around, (Metcalf 1030-1, Sch. XIII/7, Mal.91). Nearly fine, and rare.

Ex Mathew Rich Collection, and from Alex Malloy list 37, April 1994 (1402), and listed with CNG Sale 53 March 2000, (lot 2087, illustrated US$100).
