ARTUQIDS OF MARDIN, Nasir al-Din Artuq Arslam, (A.H. 597-637) (A.D. 1201-1239), copper dirham, pictorial type, no mint, dated A.H. 620 = A.D. 1223-4, obv. Roman style head to r., rev. five lined legend in circle, (A.1830, M.1061, S/S 43, Edham 85, BMC 453-4). Polished, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
