ROMAN SILVER DENARII, featuring women, third century A.D., of Plautilla wife of Caracalla (3.094 grams), rev. Venus standing left, Cupid at feet, (S.2003, RIC 369); Julia Mamaea mother of Severus Alexander (3.316 grams), rev. Juno standing left, peacock at feet, (S.2310, RIC 343), and a cast copy of Orbiana denarius (cf.s.2300). Fine - very fine. (3)
