SALONINUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 255-259), silver antoninianus, (2.998 grams), obv. P COR SAL VALERIANVS CAES, radiate draped bust to right of Saloninus, rev. DII NVTRITORES, Jupiter and Saloninus standing facing each other, (S.3081, RIC 35, RSC 21). Even brilliant and gold tone, chip in reverse edge, otherwise extremely fine and rare.
