EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-205 B.C.), AE 38-39, Alexandria mint, issued 221-205 B.C., obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, head to right, standing on thunderbolt holding cornucopia on shoulder, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, between legs E, (S.7815, Sv.974, SNG Cop.224-6, Pitchfork 44-48); another Ptolemy III, (246-221 B.C.), AE 35, Alexandria mint, obv. as above, rev. similar with cornucopia in left field and eagle head to left, XP monogram between legs, (cf.S.7814, Sv.965, SNG Cop. 173-5, Pitchfork 31). Two with some green oxidation attached, otherwise fine - very fine. (3)
