SYRIA, Kingdom of, Seleucus I, (312-280 B.C.), AE 18, (6.656 grams), Seleucia on Tigris mint, c.284-283 B.C., obv. winged head of Meduca to right, rev. bull butting to right, in exergue **SELEUKOU*, above **BASILEWS*, (S.6852, SNG Israel I 144, Newell ESM 118). Dark green patina very fine, rare.
