IONIA, Kolophon, (c.389-350 B.C.), silver diobol, (0.878 grams), obv. head of Apollo to left, hair rolled at back, rev. lyre of seven strings, partial legend to left upwards **KOLOFW*, to right upwards uncertain name, (cf.S.4348 [£100], Milne NN&M 96, Third period No.52 [same obverse die, new reverse die and magistrate]); Ephesus, (c.280-258 B.C.), AE 10, (1.218 grams), obv. female head to left, rev. bee, (S.4409, SNG Cop.256). First with dark tone, otherwise nearly very fine, first rare. (2)
