THRACE, Island of, Thrace, Thasos, (c.after 148 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.458 grams), obv. head of young Dionysos to right, wreathed with ivy and band across forehead, rev. Herakles naked standing to left, (cf.S.1759, SNG Cop. 1039); Boeotia, Thebes, silver hemidrachm, (379-371 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.592 grams), obv. Boeotian shield, rev. B O[I] either side of kantharos, club above, ivy leaf to right, (S.2396, BMC 33 [Pl.V, 12]); Macedon, Philip II, AE 17, obv. Apollo head right, rev. youth on horse to right, (S.6698); Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.276 grams), uncertain mint, (S.6730). Second coin nearly very fine and rare, others poor - nearly fine. (4)
