THRACE, Odessus, Gordian III and Sarapis, (A.D. 238-244), AE 28, (13.065 grams), obv. Gordian III laureate draped and cuirassed bust right facing Sarapis bust draped to left, around AVT ANT **GORDIANOC* in exergue **AVG*, rev. Eagle facing head to left, around **ODH*C CEIT**WN*, E in field to right, (S.-, BMC -, Berlin -, Pick & Regling 2366 (p.579). Brown patina, good very fine or better and very rare for this reverse, only one recorded.
