THRACE (MOESIA INFERIOR), Marcianopolis, Caracalla and Julia Domna, (A.D. 211-217), AE 27, (9.978 grams), obv. Caracalla laureate head to right facing Julia Domna head to left, around partial legend, rev. Four column temple with standing Zeus to left, around V**P* KVNTILIAN O[*V MAPKIA]NO**POLI TWN*, E in field to left, (cf.S.2707, BMC 19 [p.30], Pick 687 [p.229]). Brown patina, split in edge, nearly fine/fine and very rare for this reverse.

Issued for the magistrate Quintilianus. Pick knew of only two examples.
