ANGLO-GALLIC, Richard II (1377-1399), silver double hardi d'argent, probably issued after 1390, (2.034 grams), obv. half length figure of king facing, RICARDVS REX ANGLIE around, rev. long cross, leopard in opposite angles, lis in other angles, (Elias 227). Slightly crinkled, otherwise fine and very rare.

The Elias collection (Spink Coin Auctions No.77) in 1990 did not contain an example of this denomination.
