PAPUA NEW GUINEA, Village Court Magistrate badge in brass with suspension lug for wearing c.1973-74, by A.J. Parkes (does not include the word 'Brisbane' in the makers name) (51.5mm), very rare in brass. Extremely fine.
See Mira- From Cowrie to Kina pp.205- 7, where it states they are all in cupro nickel. Probably a trial or partly finished badge.
