EDWARD THE CONFESSOR (1042-1066), silver penny, issued 1052-1053, heavy issue (1.6 grams), Expanding cross type, obv. diademed bust left, rev. short cross voided with expanding limbs joined by two circles, around SPRACLINC ON LVN (London mint), (Br. 5, BMC V, N.823, S.1177). Toned, good very fine and rare.
