BRAEMAR HIGHLAND SOCIETY, handcrafted medal in silver (58mm) plain silver disc with surround and scroll mount at top, inscribed on obverse 'Prize/from/Braemar Highland Society/for/Best Runner', on reverse 'Gained/by/James Coutts/22nd August/1844'. Very fine.
