Parthia, Kingdom of, Gotarzes II, (A.D. 40-51), billon tetradrachm, (8.70 grams), Seleucia mint, issued uncertain month of year 361 (Seleucid era) = A.D. 49, obv. large size bare-headed bust to left with long pointed beard, wearing diadem, hair on brow, rev. king enthroned to right receiving diadem from Tyche holding cornucopiae, eight line inscription, including year **A[XT]*, and month in exergue off flan, (S.7466, cf.Sellwood 65.25-27, cf.Shore 362). Some red and green encrustation, otherwise good fine and scarce.
