Parthia, Kingdom of, Tiridates, (29-27 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.73 grams), Seleucia mint, issued April of uncertain year, obv. large size bare-headed bust to left with long beard, wearing diadem, wart on forehead, rev. king enthroned to right receiving palm from Tyche facing holding sceptre, in exergue month **APTEM*, under throne X monogram, between legs A, monogram **qPL* to right of palm, seven line inscription, (cf.S.7496, Sellwood 55.11, Shore 311 [this coin]). Light encrustation, otherwise very fine and a very rare type.
