CHINA, Republic, general issue, silver dollar, year 12 (1923), the PU Yi Wedding commemorative, Tientsin mint, (26.83 g), obv. dragon phoenix over the insignia of longevity, rev. open wreath with characters for one yuan, (KM.Y.336, Kann 680). Light peripheral toned, otherwise brilliant uncirculated and very scarce.

Often referred to as the "Pu Yi Wedding Dollar", it is in fact a pattern of a proposed design displaying the national emblem.
